The foundation of many of our wardrobes, the t-shirts in our collection are rom brands which have mastered the art of the perfect, sustainable basic. Importantly, knowing for example that to produce a single conventional t-shirt can consume some 2,700 litres of water, we only support makers whose focus on sustainability and ethical production. The labels we support reject the disposable culture of fast fashion, focusing instead on the details that make a clothes and accessories truly enduring. We support brands that engineer for longevity, using sustainably kind materials. By showcasing fewer, better things from ethically-minded retailers, we help you simplify your wardrobe and contribute to a more sustainable future.

we use the word 'kind' instead of 'sustainable' because it's difficult to be precise about what being sustainable actually means. An example is recyled plastic which is not (yet) sustainable but which is perhaps a step in the right direction
